Introducing: Montblanc Miles Davis Special Edition

Honoring one of the greatest figures in jazz history is a tall order, but Montblanc was determined to do the legend right and proud. Miles Davis was born in Alton, Illinois in 1926 and for over three decades, from the 1940s through to the 1970s, he single-handedly reinvented and transformed the world of jazz. The extraordinary writing instrument honoring him is made with all the right details; the platinum-coated clip features finger-valve details of a trumpet, and the nib is engraved with his iconic silhouette in gold. Another masterpiece by Visconti inspired by the work of Vincent van Gogh, this pen represents his famous painting "Pollard Willow". Set in The Hague (near his home), he wanted to use the dead pollard willow beneath a threatening sky to create a somber landscape.

The pen (available in ballpoint, rollerball, and fountain) is made of natural resin with the fountain pen featuring a steel nib (converter included also). The Visconti Van Gogh: Pollard Willow is now available exclusively at CHARALS in Vancouver at 171 Robson Street. Call 604-974-9497 or email info@charals.com to reserve.
